We would like to introduce you to a few members of the people that make our company work!
Brian Salau Beck
Chief Executive Officer
Brian Salau Beck is a seasoned business professional with more than thirteen years of experience in managing high growth companies and Fortune 500 strategy. Currently, Mr. Beck serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Broadspan Commerce, a rapidly growing e-commerce company specializing in the sale of home furnishings to consumers over the Internet. As CEO, he has been responsible for 700% top line revenue growth over four years, and has built a team of professionals with experience across the eCommerce industry. Mr. Beck's prior experience includes positions with AT&T's corporate strategy group, as an e-commerce consultant with Scient Corporation, and as an executive with several early stage technology and eCommerce companies. Mr. Beck holds a BA and MBA, both from Rutgers University, and was recently recognized as a 2006 Top Forty Under 40 business executive in the State of New Jersey by NJ Biz Magazine. He lives in New Brunswick, NJ with his wife, Ruth Anne, and enjoys competitive sailboat racing, playing piano, and volunteering through several community and arts organizations.
Scott McNamara
Vice President of Engineering
Scott McNamara is a highly experienced technology professional with more than 16 years of experience. As a senior member of Broadspan's executive team, Mr McNamara offers a wealth of experience in web-based technology and full life-cycle software development. Prior to joining Broadspan, Mr. McNamara served as a Solutions Architect for Melillo Consulting, a New Jersey-based software consulting firm, where he provided technical expertise and leadership in web-based software solutions and e-commerce technology. During his 9 year tenure at Melillo, he led project teams of up to 10 engineers in enterprise scale software development projects for clients such as AT&T and the IEEE.
Darlene Gazzara
Director, Customer Care/Fulfillment
Darlene Gazzara is a sophisticated call center manager with twenty-three years of experience in the customer care field. Prior to joining Broadspan, Ms. Gazzara served as a Senior Manager at Barnes&Noble.com, reporting directly to the corporate VP of Customer Service. At BN.com, she was responsible for opening and managing the company's first online-focused call center, including hiring more than 350 employees and managing teams of up to 40 people. Currently Ms. Gazzara serves as Director, Customer Care-Fulfillment for Broadspan Commerce, were she is constantly seeking out new and innovative ways to enhance the customer's experience. She currently lives in Edison, NJ and enjoys dancing, riding, the theater, and most of all the Jersey Shore.
