I purchased the bed based on the previous review, and am in complete agreement, the bed is as substantial and as sturdy as it looks. I would purchase from this manufacturer again.

Love my Biloxi bed! Good price; great quality. Strong enough to hold a trapeze! :o) Stylish. Sophisticated. Modern but not cold. I get lots of ooos 'n ahhhs from friends/visitors. AND it's comfortable. Definitely a great choice for me or anyone who likes something different but still classic. Advice: Get the right kind of bed coverings because there are side-rails you definitely don't want to cover up.

I just purchased the Biloxi canopy bed and I am extremely pleased. It is sturdy, quality crafted, attractive, and stylish. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for and I haven't seen another bed like it anywhere. I think it will be quite a conversation piece. It's stylishness also fits with my eclectic taste, as I am not a "bedroom suite" type of guy. Also the company that delivered and installed it were professional and quick. Please know that the bed is heavy, as it is all heavy metal, but it does not look "visually" heavy. Also, the slats that support the mattress are superb...with their own individual center legs to the floor that add strength (I didn't anticipate that). Again, I couldn't be more pleased. I am very glad I purchased the Biloxi. (FYI: The height of the canopy is about 88"...which [...] ad unfortunately does not indicate. It fits in my 9' ceiling bedroom just fine, even with a ceiling fan.)
