I attached felt squares on the headboard next to the wall since the it was not quite parallel and shifts slightly due to its height (and joints??). All joints are very quiet during the night with tossing and turning. My husband put the bed together alone, and kept another customer's recommendation in mind (use additional slats).It looks great; but I think it was slightly overpriced. Overall we are very happy with it!

Overall, nice looking bed and fairly high quality, I think. Love the way it looks. My two complaints would be that it only has 4 slats across the bottom underneath, so if you use only a mattress without a box spring, you'll definitely sink down. Also the stain is darker than in the picture; mine is almost a deep cherry color, whereas the picture looks somewhat lighter. Still, overall a great bed. I'm pleased with it.

My husband and I spent several months looking for beds at stores in the Boston area, and finally decided to look on-line. We found this site and this bed quickly, and I knew that it was just the design I had been looking for. The delivery was efficient and easy - although we did have to stay home to accept it - and the assembly not as bad as we had expected. And now that the bed is set up, I LOVE it. It's classic and elegant without being too formal, and it really helps to bring our bedroom together. The color is a little darker than it looks in the photo, but that's a tiny thing. I'm definitely happy with it.

Good bargain price, easy assembly, nice finish, very good wood, compliments any room. Suggest applying wax to screw threads to ease joining pieces and to minimize squeeks, overall a very nice product with very thought out craftmanship of parts for the consumer to self assemble.
