Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Very pretty bed and it came fairly quickly. The set up was easy to understand, however the poles for the headboard did not slide in to each other very easily and I had to use a hammer to carefully push them in w/o causing damage (the same thing happened with the decorative ends of the poles). It looks great once it is put together though!
