You know how sometimes purchases made on the web don't look anything like their pictures when you receive the actual product? This is NOT one of those. When we got the bed put together it took our breath away. We couldn't believe it looked as good as it did...and still does. Construction and finish are excellent. The platform provides plenty of support so that we didn't have worry about purchasing a box spring.
