I like the sturdiness and the wood is nice. I plan to stain the bed since it is unfinished but it looks nice either way. However, I have used a platform bed for awhile and this one is made where the mattress has nothing to keep it in place. It sits right on the top and when you sit or make the bed it shifts. I prefer the ones that have a slight drop for the fit of the mattress.

i love my bed. if one wanted to, one can easily change its color... i didn't.i was able to install it by myself.and am just enjoying using it.

I bought the bed for a guest room that I was making. I painted the bed an antique white and my son had no problem putting the bed together. I used a memory foam mattress on it and it is wonderful. It looks so nice with the rest of the furniture in the room.

At first my wife and I were skeptical about purchasing this bed because it required assembly. It required only an hour to put it togethor and have had no complaints yet. I highly recommend this bed if your are looking for a stabile bed frame.

A rock steady bed at a rock bottom price. This is a pre-fab 'kit' bed you can get many places, [...]. 1 of the planks for the headboard (optional) was chipped, other than that, everything else was fine.
