Actually it is better constructed than the [...] bed we paid almost twice as much for. The only thing that could improve it is if it was solid wood that could be refinished. But the veneer looks very good. [...].

This bed was great at first...easy set up and looked really nice in our room with our mahogany furniture. It broke three times within a year--the slats are not sturdy at all. The bed collapsed every time and we had to drill screws in the side to keep the platform up. Good thing my dog wasn't under the bed when it collapsed because it would have really injured him.
I would not recommend this at all.

I put it together myself and not too hard. Looks terrific in any decor of a bedroom. Definetly get another one if I change other rooms.

We love everything about the bed, except for the fact that it caves in the middle. We remedied the problem with plywood between the matresses though. Now, we sleep great.
