The bed was delivered on schedule and the boxes showed no apparent damage. Assembly, including unpackaging, took about an hour and I encountered no difficulties. Another pair of hands could have cut assembly time by 15 or 20 minutes. I would definitely recommed this product to anyone looking for an attractive platform bed.

This is a very nice, solidly made platform bed. The only complaint I have it the support rod that goes underneath, if you move the bed, it falls down and then you have to use a lot of strength and finese to get it back in the right spot.

This bed is similar to one I have used for awhile. I like the polished wood. I like just using a mattress, and having no foot board at the end of the bed. The mattress fits slightly below the sides and that keeps it in place. Very nice product for a reasonable price.

I had slept for years on a futon with an upgraded mattress. I could not believe how comfortable this bed/frame made me on my new mattress. The setup was easy and the construction is excellent.

The finish is more like mahoghany with some red in it. Although I love the color, it was hard to find matching furniture. (I didn't get the bedroom set). While the bed could have been built with more support in the middle to make it a little more sturdier, overall it's a great bed. [...]

This is a great bed, easy to assemble, sturdy and very comfortable to sit and read. And it looks good too. My only complaint really is about the rolled slats, they are hardwood but not painted and you can see them around the mattress. I wish they offered matching slats for a fee. Oh, and the assembly intructions are written in poor english [...].

To test if the color of the bed would match a dresser I had, I took a digital picture of the dresser and compared it with the picture of the bed on the web-site. I am very happy with the color match and the quality. The curve of the headrest is perfect for resting a pillow and reading. The slats were easy to assemble once I thought about it for a minute.

Missing bolts forced me to go buy them at the hardware store. The ones that I bought were slightly too long, and they damaged the wood.
