This bed was shipped in good condition. The box had some tears in it but the actual product was not harmed at all. We are very happy with the bed itself. Although, it stated that you can use box springs and your mattress on the frame, using the box spring made the bed entirely too high! Luckily, our double pillow top mattress provides enough height that we don't need to have steps to get into bed... The directions could have been written better and they only provided enough screws (for the slats) for every other slat on both sides instead of for each slat on both sides. Other than this, we are very pleased and would consider buying additional furniture [...]!

The bed is great, really sturdy and firm - doesn't shift at all. It's a good height- not too low or too high. It looks really 'rich' and modern - the style lives up to it's photo and the color is true also- a nice dark espresso, almost black. The headboard and the legs are thick - about 4 inches and that makes it a substantial presence which I really like.It was very easy to put together as well, though it's best as a 2 person job and you will need a power drill for screwing in the support slats. [...] All in all I'm very happy with the whole experience and my bed!

I love this bed, it matches my Nevis 5 drawer chest beautifully... it is also very comfortable and I don't even need to use my boxspring...

Absolutely love the bed. I'd never bought furniture sight unseen before, and I am very pleased with the quality and value, as well as how easy it was to put the bed together - and how stable it is once assembled. It looks great in my new loft.

This bed was everything our teenage daughter wanted and met my expectations for quality. The bed is very sturdy and the quality of craftmanship made everyone content.
