I read a review before buying the bed and someone stated that it squeaked. It squeaked when I first assembled the center support legs...but I found out why. If you align the screws with the pre-drilled holes, it will not squeak. Note: It is very easy to screw the screws into the center legs and you be thinking that they are in the pre-drilled holes, due to the ease of them going into the wood. So, just MAKE sure that the included screws are aligned with the pre-drilled holes.

Overall I like the product. The only problem I have had with it was one of the middle support legs broke off.

This bed is awesome! We looked at several area furniture stores prior to purchasing this bed. We were concerned about buying online but it worked out wonderfully and shipping was free and fast. The bed turned out to be way better quality than we were seeing in the stores. We couldn't be happier with our purchase!

This bed was shipped in good condition. The box had some tears in it but the actual product was not harmed at all. We are very happy with the bed itself. Although, it stated that you can use box springs and your mattress on the frame, using the box spring made the bed entirely too high! Luckily, our double pillow top mattress provides enough height that we don't need to have steps to get into bed... The directions could have been written better and they only provided enough screws (for the slats) for every other slat on both sides instead of for each slat on both sides. Other than this, we are very pleased and would consider buying additional furniture [...]!

The bed is great, really sturdy and firm - doesn't shift at all. It's a good height- not too low or too high. It looks really 'rich' and modern - the style lives up to it's photo and the color is true also- a nice dark espresso, almost black. The headboard and the legs are thick - about 4 inches and that makes it a substantial presence which I really like.It was very easy to put together as well, though it's best as a 2 person job and you will need a power drill for screwing in the support slats. [...] All in all I'm very happy with the whole experience and my bed!
