My 9 year old LOVES this bed! My only complaint is a regular twin mattress is approx. 6 inches too short. Perhaps an extra-long twin would have worked better? A regular twin fits perfectly in the trundle.
It came to our new home soon after we moved in. My husband easily put it together & it fits & looks perfect in our second, but smaller guest bedroom. Our two grandsons use the bed when they visit us over the weekend. They have fun pulling out the trundle bed underneath the top bed.
I LOVE this product, however I purchased a very expensive twin size mattress and there is a space of several inches on either side where I am afraid a small child can break his or her leg.
We wanted to get a nice guest bed that could also accommodate children with the added trundle. This fit our needs while not taking up too much room.
Our guests have said the bed is very nice and sturdy. They felt comfortable and it was quite spacious for a twin size bed.
We haven't used the trundle yet, but it has wheels so it easily slides out if needed.
The instructions were fairly straight forward and the bed was pretty easy to put together.
The only con I have is that there weren't more color choices of wood. This particular shade is a little bit darker than my other wood furniture, but it was the closest match of all the options.
The product is sturdy. It matched perfectly with pieces we purchased from another furniture store. Love the soft maple coloring. My daughter couldn't be happier.
Love it
Well made, easy to put together, nice looking. For mass made furniture it is very nice. Solid wood construction, strong and accurately cut. It is stable, functional and attractive as well as reasonably priced. The finish seems durable but has a kind of color-varnish-in-one look to it.[...]. Now I just have to finish the room it goes in.
Great product. Real solid, sturdy. Very durable. Great even just as a couch besides the bed.
We use it for my toddler son. He likes it because it makes him feel like a big boy but it has the trundle so its safe for him to sleep on it with the trundle pulled out.
