This bed more than met my expectations and also surpassed my husband's, who is a woodworker. He was quite pleased with the construction and assembly.It is beautiful in my little "country victorian" guest bedroom. Our guest room is 10feet by 10feet and the bed does not overwhelm it at all. It is cozy when the trundle is pulled out and set up but managable. I LOVE it.It is really pretty. Have received lots of compliments from family and friends!
